Peppermint Tea Latte

This drink is warm, naturally sweetened, creamy, and delicious! Below I have listed 2 way to make this tea. One is with a regular peppermint tea bag and the other is with 1 drop of peppermint essential oil. Enjoy!!

  1. Heat almond milk either in the microwave in a microwave safe container or on the stove until the almond milk is hot and at a boil. (about 2-3 minutes in microwave and about 5 minutes on the stove)
  2. If using a tea bag, let it steep in the milk while covered for 5- 7 minutes. Once finished, take the tea bag out and stir in maple syrup. IF you are using the peppermint oil, stir it in with the maple syrup.
  3. Transfer liquid to a high speed blender. Blend for about 15-20 seconds until the liquid becomes frothy. The more you blend the drink, the more frothy it will be.
  4. Transfer to mug and enjoy immediately :)
*If you have sweetened or vanilla flavored almond milk, you can use it! You will need to taste the drink before adding the maple syrup to make sure it is not too sweet.
