“No-Tuna” Salad

This “No-Tuna” Salad is incredibly simple and SO tasty! When I discovered this recipe I was hungry, just back from working out, and needing to throw something together fast. This is what I came up with, and once I had made it a few days in a row- I realized it was too good not to share! This salad is perfect to eat on a green salad, with crackers or on a sandwich.

5 ingredients and only 10 minutes to make! Simplicity is bliss, especially when it tastes delicious. 🤗

To make this salad you will use 2 cans of chickpeas, mashed. Then you’ll add in pickles, white onion, mayo and salt. Make sure you use pickles with a good flavor because they are vital in creating a good flavor in this salad. I think homemade sweet pickles are best, which you can often find at your local farmers market. Farmers Garden pickles by Vlasic are the only store bought pickles I know of without dyes in them, and they taste fresh with a great flavor. They are dill pickles and they also taste great in this salad. Make sure you use a brand with good ingredients and no dyes, which unfortunately is hard to find.

I would love to hear from you and know what pickles you use!! If store bought, what brand?? Please share comments and pictures of how it turns out for you! Happy cooking, friends!

Xo,

Christine
